Some of the most beautiful places require a hike, but it’s almost always worth the effort. Gold Rock beach would be one of those places. We walked along a trail that’s right off the roadside..
And arrived at a breathtaking sight. Pictures could never do it justice. After a quick wardrobe change, we were marching through the water.
The sea was shallow for about a hundred yards before plunging into the deeper depths and colors. We waded through the knee deep waters, watching schools of fish and crab swarming and scurrying around us.
We picked up a few pieces of trash and were disappointed that humans could have such disrespect for the beauty around them.
Side note: Remember to be conscious of your carbon footprint and what you are leaving behind.
Besides, the locals get crabby when there’s trash littering their homes.
